CONTENTS AND INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR HIP

If you wish sell your home you will need a home information pack from June 1st 2007. A home information pack consists of a number of required documents relating to the particular property detailing ownership, required searches, sales information and an energy rating certificate. This is all to be organised into one document with a HIP index.

As well as the required, mandatory, documents you will also be able to include many authorised documents into your home information pack. Additional documents such as a full home condition report, additional searches or maps will provide your HIP with much more information to potential purchasers and may encourage a quicker sale saving you and your family from the hassle of selling your home.
